Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Ave-Maria University Piyanko wishes to felicitate with staff and students on the forthcoming Easter celebration.
This is to inform the university community, parents and students that the University vacates on Wednesday April 13 2022 for end of first semester. Resumption is on 30th April 2022.
Students should take note of the following:
1. Dress code enforcement will be effected upon resumption in the second semester.
2. Prohibited items will be confiscated if discovered.
3. Ave-Maria University is a Catholic and Faith-based University. The University does not intend to interfere with the faith of her students nor to convert any of them to the Catholic faith. However, attendance to daily Masses is compulsory for all students as they serve as avenues for instilling moral conducts and discipline on students in accordance with our Vision and Mission. Penalty for non-attendance of a Mass is one week suspension.
4. All students on suspension should resume with their parents or guardians to make an undertaking for good behaviour on their behalf.
5. Students carrying unkempt, overgrown or bushy hair will not be allowed into the University premises upon resumption.
6. For the avoidance of doubt, students should refer to the students’ handbook for proper clarification.
7. Students are to pay (Two Thousand Naira) 2000.00 for library card and also come with passport size photographs.
8. Balance of school fees 30% and any other fee owed should be paid before resumption. No student will be allowed into the hostel without proof of payment of all outstanding fees.
